Design perspective
Mood boards, material palettes, and design concepts: a look at the ideas, textures, and forms that shape every Jordan Stone Interiors room.
What I believe about a good room
Before you see the boards, here's what's behind them.
Natural materials first. Wood, stone, linen, wool, clay. Materials that age well and feel good to touch.
Layers, not clutter. A room feels finished when texture, light, and objects build on each other, not when every surface is full.
Timeless over trendy. I'd rather you love your room in ten years than for ten months.
Made for real life. Kids, pets, Texas humidity, and Sunday dinners are part of the design brief, not obstacles to it.
Mood boards
Each board starts with a feeling and a few key materials, then builds into a full direction for a room.
Concept: Quiet Retreat (soft, collected bedroom mood board)
Concept: Modern Collected (refined entry mood board)
Concept: Tailored Warmth (moody living room mood board)
Concept: Grounded Modern (warm modern kitchen and bar mood board)
